De Bonte Wever is located in Assen, the capital of Drenthe, centrally in Northern Netherlands. The location is easily accessible from all over the Netherlands: by car via the A28 and by public transport thanks to the short distance to the station and good bus connections.
Around the location, there is ample free parking. The Historic Asserbos is in the backyard, and the center of Assen is easily accessible on foot.

A plenary meeting, various breakout sessions, or multiple program components simultaneously? Within de Bonte Wever, 14 rooms and spaces can be used individually and in combination.
A boardroom meeting in the compact Lime room, a plenary meeting in Indigo for up to 100 people, or multiple meeting rooms combined when the program requires breakout rooms. There is a lot to choose from and combine!
In the Purple conference hall, the mobile stands ensure an atmospheric start in a theater setup, after which the hall can, for example, be turned into a space for a networking reception or a dance floor for the festive part of the meeting.
The Plaza event hall is our largest space and with the large open floor offers numerous possibilities for a conference with trade show setup and food stands or a large stage for the band.

Two restaurants and various catering establishments, such as the cozy Caféstraat, offer plenty of opportunities to give the conference program that little extra.
At de Bonte Wever, a conference can also easily be expanded with sports and recreational activities or a festive end to the day. From a surprising quiz evening to bowling or a theme party with live entertainment.
Participants who stay overnight can alternate the business program with a visit to the subtropical swimming paradise or a workout in the fitness center. Swim laps, unwind in the sauna, or clock miles on the treadmill.
