At De Bonte Wever, we find it important to act responsibly towards people, the environment, and our surroundings. Therefore, we continuously work on sustainable business operations and look for ways to enhance our social impact.

Sustainability for us is not a separate component but a fixed part of how we work. From energy and water use to procurement, waste, and our cooperation with employees, suppliers, and social organizations.

In doing so, we pay attention to:

  • recognized sustainability and environmental labels;

  • local and regional products and suppliers;

  • energy and water-efficient equipment;

  • environmentally friendly cleaning and dishwashing agents;

  • sustainable building and renovation materials;

  • reducing packaging materials;

  • reducing and separating waste.

With suppliers, we make agreements about sustainability and responsible business practices whenever possible. This way, we work together towards a more sustainable supply chain.

Energy, water, and waste

We continue to seek opportunities to reduce our energy and water consumption. Energy-efficient lighting and equipment, water-saving facilities, and conscious use of energy and water are part of our operations.

We also limit our waste streams where possible and separate different types of waste. In new investments and renovations, we consider sustainability in our choices.
