Catering Staff Restaurant Flinck

You are the smile of Flinck

The first guests arrive. The buffet is ready, the coffee is brewing, and the restaurant buzzes with the chatter of a new day. You welcome guests, assist someone at their table, and ensure the buffet looks presentable. A little later, you pour a drink or clear a table.

This is what your work at restaurant Flinck looks like: one place, infinitely varied.

Flinck is the largest buffet restaurant in Northern Netherlands. From a hearty breakfast to a lavish dinner: guests come here to eat, enjoy, and spend time together. Together with your colleagues, you ensure they feel welcome and leave with a good feeling.

From welcome to the last table

No day is the same. You work with an enthusiastic team where tasks are divided. One day you’re mainly behind the bar, and the next day you’re welcoming guests at the entrance. It’s precisely this variety that makes the job enjoyable. Your responsibilities include:

  • welcoming and greeting guests;

  • serving guests;

  • bar duties;

  • replenishing and tidying the buffet;

  • setting up the restaurant;

  • clearing and resetting tables;

  • responding to the needs of the moment.

Hospitable and not afraid to take initiative

Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus, but not required. We mainly value motivation, enjoying working with people, and ensuring guests feel welcome. Furthermore:

  • you want to work part-time or full-time;

  • you’re looking for a job next to your studies or other job;

  • you’re taking a gap year and want to work productively;

  • you are 18 or older and available in the evenings and/or weekends.

Working at a place where much comes together

At the Bonte Wever, hotel, catering, sports, relaxation, and events come together. You’ll notice this at Flinck too. One table might have hotel guests, while the next has a family dining together. Different guests, different moments, different tasks each day.

Of course, this comes with benefits. You’ll receive:

  • a cozy and dynamic company to work at;

  • an enthusiastic team;

  • classification and remuneration according to the Horeca CAO;

  • great secondary employment conditions, such as:

    • free access to sports (fitness, aquatic sports, and more!);

    • free swimming;

    • discount on swimming lesson cards;

    • discounts for friends and family on de Bonte Wever offerings;

    • special employee discounts for events, outings, and offerings at de Bonte Brink;

    • opportunities for birth and parental leave;

    • group discount options on various insurances, including health insurance;

    • participation in the Hospitality and Catering Pension Fund;

    • participation in the bicycle lease plan (depending on contract);

    • good, free parking facilities for car and bicycle;

    • a token of appreciation on your birthday;

    • a fresh soup in the canteen every lunch;

    • an active employee association: The Hunebedjes.

Imagine: in a few weeks, you're walking through Flinck. You know the colleagues, exactly what needs to be done, and recognize regular guests by their faces. From the first breakfast to the last dinner, you contribute to the atmosphere in the restaurant.
