Conference Room Staff

The chairs are in place, the equipment is ready, and the first guests are arriving. You greet them with a smile and show them the way. A little later, you provide the coffee, answer a question, and arrange for an extra chair.

As a conference room staff member at the Bonte Wever, you ensure that our guests can focus on their meeting. From a small executive meeting to a large conference: you help with the preparation and are a reliable point of contact throughout the day.

You see what's needed, think along, and take action. Together with your colleagues, you ensure everything runs smoothly, from reception to the final drink.

From room setup to coffee moments

No meeting is the same. Every group has different wishes, and you help to execute them well. You are often on the move and switch between setting up spaces, providing catering, and assisting guests.

Your tasks include:

• preparing and setting up conference rooms according to our guests' wishes;

• welcoming guests and guiding them to the correct room;

• providing coffee and tea moments, lunches, and drinks;

• setting up audiovisual equipment and assisting guests with its use;

• supporting during meetings, gatherings, and events;

• responding to questions and requests, even if they come at the last minute;

• keeping the rooms neat and tidy;

• noticing special features and independently solving minor problems;

• tidying up the spaces afterward.

Hospitable, practical, and detail-oriented

You easily make contact and enjoy helping guests. A changed room setup or an extra request does not unbalance you. You remain friendly, keep an overview, and look for a solution.

Furthermore, we find it important that you:

• work neatly and have an eye for detail;

• like to roll up your sleeves;

• can work independently and collaborate well with colleagues;

• have a representative appearance;

• are flexibly available, occasionally also in the evening or weekend;

• take responsibility for your work.

Experience in hospitality or service is a plus but not a requirement. We find your enthusiasm and desire to deliver good work equally important.
