Facility Employee Room Cleaning
You ensure a pleasant start to every stay
A clean, fresh hotel room makes a big difference. You make sure everything is ready for our guests: from a neatly made bed to a well-maintained bathroom.
You work alongside a team of colleagues and know what needs to be done. You keep up the pace but never lose sight of quality. Because it is this attention to detail that makes the difference for our guests.
Here's what your job looks like at De Bonte Wever: one place, countless guests who stay worry-free thanks to you.
No room is the same
As a room cleaning employee, you start each working day with a clear goal: preparing the hotel rooms for new guests. You have your own tasks but also consider what is needed in the hotel at that moment.
Your work includes:
cleaning and preparing hotel rooms;
changing bed linen and replacing towels;
cleaning bathrooms and sanitary facilities;
replenishing amenities in the hotel room;
noting any special situations or defects;
handling materials and linens neatly and carefully.
You work between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, depending on the hotel's occupancy.
You're a go-getter
The work requires a good pace and a sharp eye. You will often walk quite a bit, lift materials, and work in different positions. At the same time, you quickly see when something needs extra attention. Experience in room cleaning is a plus, but not required. We will gladly teach you how it works.
Furthermore, we expect you to:
work well under time pressure;
handle physical work;
be precise and motivated;
work independently on your tasks;
collaborate well with colleagues;
have proficiency in Dutch or English, due to contact with guests and colleagues.
Working in a place where many things come together
De Bonte Wever is a place where hotel, hospitality, sports, relaxation, and events come together. You will notice this in your work. No two days are exactly the same, and you will work with colleagues from different departments.
Of course, there is something in return. You get:
a pleasant and dynamic company to work in;
salary and benefits according to the Hospitality CAO;
great secondary employment conditions, such as:
free sports activities (fitness, aqua sports, and more!);
free swimming;
discount on swim lesson cards;
discounts for friends and family on offers from De Bonte Wever;
special employee discounts for events, outings, and offers in De Bonte Brink;
possibility for birth and parental leave;
collective discount options on various insurances, including health insurance;
participation in the Pension Fund for Hospitality and Catering;
participation in the bicycle leasing plan (depending on contract);
good, free parking facilities for both (electric) cars and bicycles;
a token of appreciation on your birthday;
a delicious fresh soup in the canteen during lunch every day;
an active staff association ‘De Hunebedjes’.
