Facility Staff Member (Night Cleaning)

You ensure a fresh start to the day.

The building becomes quieter. Most hotel guests head to their rooms, and your workday begins. You clean the lobby, ensure fresh toilets, and check the corridors. When the first colleagues and guests arrive in the morning, everything is well presented again.

As a facility staff member for night cleaning at the Bonte Wever, you work mostly independently. You know what needs to be done, keep an overview, and see when something needs extra attention. If a guest approaches you with a question, you help them kindly.

This is how you contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment even at night.

From lobby to the last corridor

You are actively engaged and see immediate results from your work. You ensure the public areas are ready for a new day, including:

  • cleaning corridors, toilets, the lobby, and other departments;

  • keeping public areas neat and tidy;

  • checking that everything is properly cleaned;

  • independently performing your cleaning tasks;

  • being the point of contact for guests when needed.

You work around 30 hours per week, with shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The basic schedule consists of five days working and five days off. Your shifts can occur on any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Independent, precise, and enjoy being active

Working at night suits you. You take on your tasks independently, work accurately, and take responsibility for the result. The work is physical: you are active during your shift.

Additionally, we consider it important that you:

  • have an affinity for cleaning;

  • are flexibly deployable;

  • have an eye for detail and cleanliness;

  • are representative and communicate friendly with guests;

  • have a good command of the Dutch or English language;

  • have a BHV diploma or are willing to obtain it.

Experience in cleaning is helpful, but not required.

Working in a place where much comes together

During the day, hotel, hospitality, sports, relaxation, and events come together at the Bonte Wever. At night, you ensure the spaces are clean and tidy for everyone who comes the following day. Your behind-the-scenes work makes a difference for guests and colleagues.

Of course, there is something in return for this. You get:

  • a pleasant and dynamic company to work in;

  • classification and pay in accordance with Horeca CAO;

  • nice secondary employment conditions, such as:

    • free sports (fitness, aqua sports, and more!);

    • free swimming;

    • discount on swimming lesson cards;

    • discounts for friends and family members on the Bonte Wever offer;

    • special staff discounts for events and outings, and offers in the Bonte Brink;

    • possibility for birth and parental leave;

    • group discount opportunities on various insurances including health insurance;

    • participation in Pension Fund Horeca and Catering;

    • participation in the bicycle leasing plan (depending on contract);

    • good free parking facilities for both (electric) car and bike;

    • a gift on your birthday;

    • every day a delicious fresh soup in the canteen during lunch;

    • active staff association ‘De Hunebedjes’.
