Restaurant Flinck Hospitality Staff
You are the smile of Flinck
The first guests are coming in. The buffet is ready, the coffee is brewing, and the restaurant is filled with the murmur of a new day. You welcome guests, help someone to a table, and make sure the buffet is well-maintained. Later, you pour a drink or clear a table.
This is what your work looks like at restaurant Flinck: one place, endless variety.
Flinck is the largest buffet restaurant in Northern Netherlands. From a hearty breakfast to an extensive dinner: guests come here to eat, enjoy, and spend time together. You and your colleagues ensure they feel welcome and leave with a good feeling.
From welcome to last table
No day is the same. You work with an enthusiastic team where tasks are divided. One day you're working mainly behind the bar, the next day you're greeting guests at the entrance. It's exactly this variety that makes the job fun. Your tasks include:
welcoming and greeting guests;
serving guests;
bar duties;
replenishing and keeping the buffet tidy;
setting up the restaurant;
clearing tables and making them ready again;
adapting to what is needed at the moment.
Hospitable and not afraid to get things done
Experience in hospitality is a plus, but not a requirement. We mainly find it important that you are motivated, enjoy working with people, and make guests feel welcome. Furthermore:
you want to work part-time or full-time;
you're looking for a job alongside your studies or another job;
you have a gap year and want to get to work;
you are 18 years or older and available in the evenings and/or weekends.
Working in a place where many things come together
At the Bonte Wever, hotel, hospitality, sport, relaxation, and events come together. You notice this in Flinck as well. One table consists of hotel guests, the next of a family dining together. Again and again, different guests, different moments, and different tasks.
Of course, there's something in return. You get:
a cozy and dynamic company to work in;
an enthusiastic team;
grading and remuneration according to the Horeca CAO;
fun secondary benefits, such as:
free sports (fitness, aqua sports, and more!);
free swimming;
discount on the swimming lesson card;
discounts for friends and family on the Bonte Wever offerings;
special staff discounts for events, outings, and the Bonte Brink offerings;
possibility for birth and parental leave;
group discount options on various insurances, including health insurance;
participation in the Hospitality and Catering Pension Fund;
participation in the bicycle lease plan (dependent on contract);
good, free parking facilities for car and bike;
a birthday surprise;
a fresh bowl of soup in the canteen every day at lunch;
an active staff association: De Hunebedjes.
Imagine: in a few weeks, you're walking through Flinck. You know the colleagues, exactly what needs to be done, and recognize regular guests by their faces. From the first breakfast to the last dinner, you contribute to the atmosphere in the restaurant.
