Swimming Instructor ABC

A child swimming through the water without arm bands for the first time. A student who finally masters that difficult move after weeks of practice. As a Swimming Instructor ABC, you see up close how much difference your guidance makes.

At de Bonte Wever, you give swimming lessons to children of various levels. You explain, demonstrate, encourage, and always look for a method that suits the child. Does a student find something difficult? Then you don't see it as a problem, but a challenge to work on together.

Besides the swimming lessons, you supervise in our swimming and sauna paradise. This way, you alternate teaching with another important role within our team.

You independently give swimming lessons according to the ABC Swimming and guide children during their learning process. You ensure a safe and pleasant environment where children can develop at their own pace.

Your tasks include:

• providing swimming lessons for the ABC Swimming;

• guiding and motivating children during the swimming lessons;

• adapting your lessons to different levels and learning needs;

• ensuring a safe and positive atmosphere in and around the pool;

• supervising in the swimming and sauna paradise;

• collaborating with your colleagues within the swimming team.

You have a teaching qualification for ABC Swimming and gain energy from working with children. You are patient, creative, and know how to guide children in a fun and educational way.

Further, you bring:

• teaching qualification ABC Swimming;

• valid First Aid certificate;

• good command of the Dutch language;

• good communicative skills;

• a service- and guest-oriented work attitude;

• flexibility;

• a collegial and involved work attitude.

At de Bonte Wever, swimming, sports, relaxation, hospitality, hotel, and events come together. As a Swimming Instructor ABC, you work within an enthusiastic swimming team, but you also get a lot from the rest of our organization.

You work 2 to 3 days per week. More hours are possible by negotiation by expanding your activities with supervision in the swimming paradise.
