Swimming Teacher Swim-ABC
You teach children to swim. We ensure you enjoy it every day.
A child swimming through the water without floatation devices for the first time. A student who finally masters that tricky move after weeks of practice. As a Swimming Teacher Swim-ABC, you see up close how much of a difference your guidance makes.
At De Bonte Wever, you teach swimming lessons to children of various levels. You explain, demonstrate, encourage, and constantly seek a method that suits the child. Does a student find something difficult? You see it not as a problem, but as a challenge to work on together.
Besides teaching swimming lessons, you also oversee our swimming and sauna paradise. This way, you alternate between teaching and another crucial role within our team.
From first dive to swimming diploma
You independently teach swimming lessons according to the Swim-ABC and guide children during their learning process. You ensure a safe and pleasant environment where children can develop at their own pace.
You will be involved in:
teaching swimming lessons for the Swim-ABC;
guiding and motivating children during swimming lessons;
adjusting your lessons to different levels and learning needs;
ensuring a safe and positive atmosphere in and around the pool;
overseeing the swimming and sauna paradise;
collaborating with your colleagues within the swimming team.
You get children moving
You have a teaching qualification for the Swim-ABC and gain energy from working with children. You are patient, creative, and know how to guide children in a fun and educational manner.
You additionally bring:
teaching qualification Swim-ABC;
valid first aid diploma;
good command of the Dutch language;
good communication skills;
a service- and guest-oriented work attitude;
flexibility;
a collegial and engaged work attitude.
Working in a place where a lot comes together
At De Bonte Wever, swimming, sports, relaxation, hospitality, hotel, and events come together. As a Swimming Teacher Swim-ABC, you work within an enthusiastic swimming team, but you also experience a lot from the rest of our organization.
You work 2 to 3 days per week. More hours are possible in consultation by expanding your activities with overseeing the swimming paradise.
Of course, this also comes with benefits. You get:
a cozy and dynamic company to work in;
classification and pay in accordance with the Hospitality Collective Agreement;
fun fringe benefits, such as:
free sports (fitness, aquatic sports, and more!);
free swimming;
discount on swimming lesson cards;
discounts for friends and family on the offerings of De Bonte Wever;
special staff discounts for events and outings and offers at De Bonte Brink;
possibility for maternity and parental leave;
collective discount opportunities on various insurances, including health insurance;
participation in the Hospitality Pension Fund;
participation in a bike lease plan (depending on contract);
good, free parking facilities for both (electric) cars and bikes;
a token of appreciation on your birthday;
delicious fresh soup in the cafeteria during lunch every day;
an active staff association ‘De Hunebedjes’.
Do you see yourself teaching here?
Soon, you might be at the poolside, helping a child earn their first swimming diploma. A place where no lesson is the same and where your guidance makes an immediate visible difference.
