The Dire Straits Experience

After previously sold-out concerts, The Dire Straits Experience returns to Assen! The demand for songs from the rich musical universe of one of the most creative and unique rock bands of all time remains unremittingly high, even among new generations. The Dire Straits Experience answers that call. Worldwide, this band is seen as the best you can hear since the original formation.

Led by former Dire Straits band member Chris White, six world-class musicians bring the gems from the original repertoire back to life: Sultans of Swing, Money for Nothing, Private Investigations, and many other classics. The band members have impressive musical careers behind them and have worked with greats such as Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, and Mike Oldfield. With The Dire Straits Experience, the music returns from one of the most creative and unique rock bands of all time. Chris White calls singer Terence Reis the only one who can match the vocal and instrumental qualities of Mark Knopfler — and that says everything about the bar set here.
